Part of a Kingsbridge parking lot has been flooded for almost a week, affecting businesses and customers in the shopping plaza.
The water became a problem last week in the parking lot at Broadway and 233rd Street. An employee of Broadway Animal Hospital in the shopping plaza says her employer has made complaints to the management since the pool formed around the drainage system outside.
Businesses say some parking spots are unusable when the parking lot floods, and customers have to sometimes park elsewhere.
A crew arrived Wednesday to pump the water out, but tenants in the shopping plaza worry about whether the problem will return the next time there is heavy rain.
