The J & S Caring Food Pantry celebrated its grand opening in the Bronx Tuesday.
The pantry held a grand opening party at its new 1811 Victor St. location.
Free clothes, household items and, of course, food were all distributed at the celebration that included a DJ.
Pantry organizers say they first opened as a mobile pop-up pantry in 2014, but will now have a permanent location in the Bronx.
The pantry has helped 2,700 families during their monthly distribution.
Organizers say J & S recently became affiliated with Food Bank NYC, which will allow them to serve more people.
