A Fordham family says a bullet pierced the wall of their home overnight Sunday.
A 48-year-old woman says she was startled around 1:30 a.m. when she heard several shots fired outside her University Avenue home. She said she was even more surprised when a bullet flew through her bedroom window where her husband was sleeping.
The bullet then pierced a wall inside the fourth-floor home.
The couple living in the apartment say that the shots may have come from a car that was driving by.
Police say they found six shell casings outside of 110 West Kingsbridge Road.
