A farmers market was still operating amid Tropical Storm Isaias in the Fordham section of the Bronx.
Shoppers came out to the area along the Grand Concourse and East 192nd Street to buy vegetables, bread and tamales.

News 12 is told workers were out since 7 a.m. and decided to stay open despite the chance for heavy rain.
The organizer tells News 12 they closed two other farmers markets and opened one until around 12 p.m.
Margaret Huffman, of Grow NYC, says the wind was the biggest concern.
