Sunday is off to a gloomy start in the borough with cloudy skies, cooler temps and periods of rain. 

News 12 meteorologists say the rainfall will be on and off, and steady at times, through Sunday afternoon. Roadside ponding is possible by the afternoon and evening.

Temperatures today are only topping out in the low- to mid-70s, with a brisk breeze. Winds are NE at 5-10 mph.

Tonight, expect cloudy skies with showers continuing through around midnight, then gradually tapering off. It'll be cool and breezy with temps in the low- to mid-60s.

Monday will see partly cloudy skies with a chance for some isolated showers and storms. The day will see highs around 80 degrees.

Tuesday and Wednesday will bring mostly sunny skies with highs in the 80s.
