Foundation donates $200,000 to sons of slain Bronx EMT
A New York City foundation presented a $200,000 check to the sons of an EMT killed on the job in the Bronx.
Tunnel to Towers Foundation handed the check to all five sons of Yadira Arroyo Thursday at an award ceremony at One World Trade.
The foundation also presented the boys with a portrait of their mother.
Donations came in from across the country and even from the U.K., according to the foundation.
Arroyo was fatally run over with her own ambulance after a man allegedly high on drugs carjacked it.
