Bronx residents and the Department of Parks and Recreation celebrated the opening of a new amphitheater with a free movie night Thursday.
The event at the Soundview Park amphitheater also featured a free yoga lesson for children provided by Sweetwater Dance and Yoga.
Many say the amphitheater is a step in the right direction to clean up the park. It will be used as a stage for live music, entertainment and outdoor movies.
