Friends, family and fans pay tribute to DMX at Barclays Center
Friends, family and fans gathered at Barclays Center on Saturday to remember hip-hop icon DMX.
Loved ones of the late rapper stepped inside the arena for a closed memorial service while thousands of fans gathered outside.
A floral arrangement with the letter X was set up outside the stadium.
A motorcade also made its way over to the arena to pay tribute.
While many fans could have watched the livestream of the memorial service from home, they said they wanted to pay homage to DMX in person.
DMX died at 50 years old following a heart attack on April 9.
Another service celebrating his life will be streamed on Sunday.
