Frustrations are still growing in the days after Sunday's snowstorm about unplowed roads and sidewalks.

News 12 has received many calls and emails about this, especially at bus stops across the island.

In Bay Shore, the sidewalk next to a bus stop on Main Street near CVS is completely covered in snow.

The CVS is located at 480 Montauk Highway.

"I'm scared I'm going to slip and fall," says Patchogue resident Ashley Slide. "That is a safety hazard."

There is a narrow path for people to get on and off the bus.

Some people tell News 12 they are walking on the street to get to the path to the bus stop.

The Town of Islip says it's the responsibility of CVS to clear it.

A spokesperson for CVS says they are working to get the sidewalk to the bus stop cleared right away.

"I worry about the people who use wheelchairs," says Islip resident Charlie Gordon.

In Hicksville, the NICE bus stop by the Broadway Mall is facing the same thing.

Crews were seen shoveling just hours after News 12 was there and reached out to the mall.

The Town of Oyster Bay says property owners are responsible for clearing sidewalks adjacent to their property.

NICE bus is responsible for maintaining and clearing the bus stops.

A spokesperson for the mall says they did clear the snow throughout the storm but says since then, they say state DOT plows have continued to bury the sidewalk.

A state DOT spokesperson says they're responsible for plowing state highways but local municipalities can pass along the responsibility of sidewalks to property owners.
