A funeral director says he's working hard to keep his business running smoothly while also giving grieiving family members the ability to say goodbye to loved ones.
Funeral homes across the city had to decide if they were willing to fight coronavirus even after death.
Pat Marmo says his funeral homes, International Funeral Service, are normally working 40 to 60 cases a day. He says he's now juggling 380, at most, outstanding - which are people waiting for services.
Marmo has webcasted funerals or met families in shifts at the door.
Funeral homes are also struggling with space, and how to store loved ones bodies until they have the chance to be cremated.
Marmo says the funeral homes are working to move bodies out of refrigerated trucks to their final resting place with dignity.
