If you're going to be traveling to or near Yankee Stadium for opening day, you'll want to give yourself plenty of extra time.
Drivers should expect delays on the Major Deegan Expressway, Harlem River crossings and the Grand Concourse as the Bronx Bombers host the Toronto Blue Jays. River Avenue and other streets surrounding the stadium are subject to closure.
All fans are encouraged to get to the game using mass transit. The B, D and 4 train lines to 161st Street are the best options.
If taking the Metro-North, the Hudson Line will stop at the 153rd Street station. MTA buses are another option, with the Bx1, Bx2, Bx6, Bx13 and BxM4 express bus all making stops close by.
