New York Giants superstar running back Saquon Barkley joined hundreds of families in his old stomping grounds of the Bronx to help feed residents for the holidays.
Barkley holds a Thanksgiving turkey drive in the Bronx every year, and this year at the Bronx Community Center 300 turkeys made it into the hands of families in need.

Barkley says that while he enjoys making history on the gridiron, helping out the local community means more than any sports record or title.
“Football is only going to be for a short period of time, sadly. That's the nature of the NFL, you never know when it's going to be your last snap, but you always can give, you can always have an impact,” said Barkley. “I feel like God blessed me with a tremendous talent and a tremendous opportunity, and I want to take advantage of that.”
The event was kickstarted through Barkley’s foundation in honor of his grandmother.
