State of emergency declared with storm bringing up to 4-6 inches of snow to The Bronx

Thousands of runners laced up their sneakers for the New York City marathon Sunday.
Runners gathered in Staten Island at the base of the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge for the start of the race before they began heading to Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan and the Bronx.
The 26.2-mile trek ended at Tavern on the Green in Central Park.
