In week one of the high school football season, Dewitt-Clinton was looking for revenge against Canarsie in an inter-borough matchup.
Canarsie defeated the Governors last year in the semifinals of the PSAL Championship.
Canarsie had the lead early in the game, but Dewitt-Clinton came back in the third quarter. Despite the third-quarter comeback by the Governors, Canarsie beat Clinton once again by a score of 38-25.
