The Straphangers Campaign released a riders report card Wednesday, which assigns grades to subway lines given by their daily commuters.

The report says the 7 train is the best train in New York City, followed by the L train. The C train was rated the worst train in the whole Metropolitan area.

The 6 train was voted as having the most service of any train in the city.

Lines are graded by analyzing a number of factors: the frequency of breakdowns, cleanliness, the chances of getting a seat during rush hour, the regularity of scheduled service and quality of in-car announcements.
