NOW: Wildfire smoke from Nova Scotia, Canada, is bringing a smoky sky and a decline in the air quality. New York City is also feeling warmer temps in the 80s and some humidity.
NEXT: A backdoor cold front brings cooler temps this weekend with some much-needed rain on Saturday into early Sunday.

TONIGHT: Mostly clear but some patchy fog possible again near the coast. Lows around 64.
TOMORROW: Hazy, hot, and a bit more humid. Highs near 90 away from the coast, near 80 along the coast. A pop-up afternoon/evening shower or storm is possible after 3 p.m. A few scattered showers likely at night. Lows drop to 63.
SATURDAY: Cloudy and much cooler. An isolated shower or two is possible during the day. Highs only near 68, falling during the afternoon. Lows down to 54.
SUNDAY: Some sunshine but staying cool. Highs just shy of 70. Lows around 55, a shower can't be ruled out at night.
MONDAY: Partly cloudy and a bit milder. Highs around 73. A sprinkle or two possible. Lows around 54.
TUESDAY: Mostly cloudy and breezy. A shower or two can't be ruled out. Highs near 74. Lows around 55.
WEDNESDAY: More of the same as an offshore storm lingers close by. Highs around 74. Lows down to 55 with a clearing sky.
