Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Darryl Green says the next chance for rain will be Sunday after a hot and humid Saturday.
TODAY: Morning rain ends after 8 a.m. Afternoon clouds with sunny breaks by 4 p.m. Clearing overnight. Highs near 65. Lows near 60.
TOMORROW: Mostly cloudy with a rogue afternoon thundershower near 7 p.m. It moves quick, not severe, but can surprise a few folks. Highs near 82. Lows near 69.
Saturday: Hot and humid, sun and clouds, highs from the mid-80s to the low-90s. Record high of 93 set in 1996.
SATURDAY - HEAT ALERT: High heat and humidity. Highs near 92. Feels like 97. Sunny but hazy. Lows near 73.
SUNDAY - HEAT ALERT: High heat continues. Highs near 89. Lows near 64. Sunny and hazy. A rogue thundershower is possible, but the chance for rain is diminishing.
MONDAY: Rain is possible sometime early in the day as a cold front approaches. The rain is either coming Sunday night or Monday morning. Highs near 72. Lows near 56.
TUESDAY: Mostly sunny. Highs near 71. Lows near 57.
WEDNESDAY: Mix of sun and clouds. Highs near 70. Lows near 60.
