A Highbridge man says his bathroom ceiling came crashing down and nearly knocked him out.

Juan Castro, 45, says he was hospitalized last week after the collapse and released the same day. When he returned to his apartment at 1146 Ogden Ave., he says the ceiling was boarded up. He says he's also dealing with spreading mold near his kitchen cabinets.

Castro claims he notified building management about the ceiling, but the damage remains. News 12 reached out to the manager, 1146 Odgen Realty LLC, and is waiting for a response.

In the meantime, Castro says he can't help but feel uneasy in his apartment.
