This is our favorite Biryani Samoa. Delicious samosa. Naan bread, sizzling chicken and chicken Tikka Masala. Oh my gosh. And would you consider this like a customer favorite? Park Chester. We're on your block all morning long. Today we've been there. News Twelve's lie. Murillo is showing us more neighborhood eats at another restaurant right now, Ellie. It looks delicious. Yeah, that's right. We're here at Taqueria Palli in Park Chester. Right now I'm joined by Jesse. Jesse. This is a family owned business. We were just talking about that. How long have you guys been here? We've been here since 2006. So it's been 18 years. Oh my gosh. So how does it feel to serve the Park Chester company? It's wonderful. We have very wonderful customers and um everywhere in the community and it's, it's a nice feeling. So we have a beautiful plate in front of us right now and this is a customer favorite. What is it? This is a burrito, a chicken burrito. Ah So what's in it? And inside the burrito we have um rice refried beans, cheddar, Monterey Jack cheese. Obviously the chicken and on top we um uh put a sour cream, avocado sauce, black bean sauce, Chipotle sauce and we garnish it with tomatoes and cilantro. Park Chester. We're on your block all morning long. We've been there today. New sales. Ellie Murillo is at Taqueria to the lax Cali right now, Ellie looks good. Yeah, we are still here at Taqueria Talli. I'm still here with my girl, Jessie. And now we kind of sat down and take a look at that gu you guys whenever you enter the restaurant, Jessie tells me this is a customer go to, right? This is um, usually they order it as an appetizer and it's one of our favorites. So, you know, you want to dive really deep into that family background. You see, it's a family owned business. How did this even start? Well, my husband worked in restaurants all his life and his dream was to open his own restaurant. And when we moved in the neighborhood 30 years ago, there was no nice family restaurant to go eat in. So he decided, you know, why not open it where we live? And this is where we decided to open our restaurant and how has it been over the years? It's been wonderful. Thank God. We have wonderful customers. We have a wonderful staff that helps us a lot. They've been with us over the years. 20 years, 18 years. I'm sorry. And it's just amazing. That is amazing. Well, we're going to have some of these appetizers. I'm actually going to dip it into this salsita here. This is one of my favorites. Mm. Yeah, we're here at Blossom Wholeness Sewing Center. I'm here with Nadine. Nadine. Hi. How long have you guys been here? What can people expect when they walk in? We've been here for two years. The store's been here since 1968. We were fortunate enough to purchase it two years ago. My sister and I, um, it's a family run business. Is a sister to sister run business. Right. And we offer to the community as you can see, um, sewing classes to Children. Any from ages 5 to 16 and then adult 17. And so we do alterations. We, we do made from scratch. The only thing we don't do is the image out of your mind. So, if you can sketch that down for us, we can make it happen for you. We fix sewing machines. We do just about everything and for the community around us, for those restaurants, they order their table cloth, the, our curtains do it all from A to Z. So we make sure that our fabric caters to that. And that was the number one thing my sister and I wanted to do is cater to the community. I love that. Well, Nadine, I'm gonna stick with you here and we're gonna explore the little hidden treasures. Are you gonna hang out with us and, uh, take a class? Absolutely.
