A flag with strong words for President Donald Trump has caused some controversy among neighbors in Throgs Neck.

The homeowner, who did not wish to be identified, has a Black Lives Matter flag and a flag symbolizing the current hardship in Puerto Rico. But it's the third flag that is turning heads.

The homeowner says she and her husband are strongly opposed to the Trump administration and says Trump has divided the country.

She says the neighborhood has a number of pro-Trump signs so she felt there needed to be another point of view.

The sign, which uses an expletive, is causing quite a stir in the neighborhood. Some have taken to social media to voice their opposition. Meanwhile others say the sign is inappropriate because its located across the street from a middle school.

The owner says she's standing by her right to free speech, even if it's unpopular with some neighbors.

The homeowner says she plans to take the Trump sign down once middle school students return to class in the next couple of weeks.
