Families came to Hostos Repertory Theater in Mott Haven Saturday for a fun musical experience.
The children's musical group "Hot Peas 'n Butter" gave an interactive performance.
The group incorporated elements of Latin music, Afro-Caribbean rhythms, jazz and rock.
Organizers say mixing the two languages ensured everyone felt comfortable to get up and dance.
