A study conducted by a transportation advocacy group found that the Bronx is home to the seven hottest bus stops in the Big Apple. The study also found Bronx bus stops are 11 degrees hotter than the city average.
With today's high temperatures, if you find yourself waiting at your exposed bus stop for long periods of time follow these tips to stay cool:
  • Wear light and loose clothing
  • Stay hydrated
  • Take breaks when needed
  • Find an air conditioned building nearby
