Hunts Point Market gives veggies to community
The Hunts Point Produce Market partnered with the NYPD's 41st Precinct on Saturday to bring good music, positive vibes and great veggies to Bronx residents.
Best of all, everything at the festival was free.
One organizer estimated that 20,000 pounds of vegetables were given away at the event.
"Vegetables are good for your health," said one attendee. "Take care of your kidneys, your liver, your lungs."
