Hunts Point Market to remains busy for the holiday with COVID-19 safety protocol

It’s that time again! The busiest day of the year for vendors at the Hunts Point Market in the Bronx.
Every year, days before Thanksgiving, Hunts Point Market is busy, but this year is different with COVID-19 safety precautions.
This year everyone working is required to have on a mask and get their temperatures checked before getting to work.
In terms of cutting back, the market’s manager says they still have about 2,000 employees but have been following all the guidelines to keep everyone safe.
More than 30 million pounds of produce will still be distributed to New York City stores and restaurants, so it’s likely if you’re buying all those Thanksgiving essentials its coming from the Hunts Point Market.
