A man has been arrested in connection to the stabbing death of his wife in the Bronx, police say.
Victor Garo, 50, was arrested Monday after police say he stabbed his 44-year-old wife to death and left her body on the corner of Home Street and Jackson Avenue in the Morrisania neighborhood.
Witnesses say they saw Garo chasing his wife, 44-year-old Adalgisa Degaro, with a knife around 8 a.m. on Monday before fatally stabbing her multiple times.
Police were called to the scene and Degaro was transported to Lincoln Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Garo is facing multiple charges including, murder, manslaughter, and criminal possession of a weapon.
