A Bronx man is bringing to life the meaning of another man's trash is another man's treasure - with bikes.
And he's doing it from the comfort of his own home.
Enrique Rosado sells, restores and trades classic bikes from his Pelham Gardens home and says his favorite style is definitely vintage.
"I am passionate about the older bikes - 1960s, 50s and 40s," said Rosado.
This passion turned into a source of income after Rosado lost his job and took on the role of being his mother's caretaker in 2017. Nearly a year ago, Rosado's mother Rosita passed away.
Rosado says his greatest support system are his friends and his neighbors, who even offered their garage as an additional space to keep his bikes.
"They support me in the crazy things I do," said Rosado.
Rosado will participate in the Tour de Bronx this upcoming Sunday, Oct. 22, as a volunteer mechanic.
