The fundraiser for No Kid Hungry allows consumers to buy the buttermilk pancakes for $1.
Officials say that 16 million children suffer from hunger nationwide, which means at least one in every five kids struggles to get the food they need to grow
The food chain hopes to serve 1 million pancakes today to make an impact in the lives of those children.
The fundraiser will be held until 7 p.m.
