Saturday marked the inaugural ceremony for Rolando Paulino Little League teams at Claremont Park.

Players were treated to a special visit from Yankees third baseman Oswaldo Cabraera and received a proclamation from Assembly Member Yudelka Tapia.

Teams lined up to take pictures, sign balls and shake Cabrera's hand and unite as one with each other.

Peggy Guzman is the president of the Rolando Paulino Little League Organization. She said it was important for the players to see a Major Leaugue player because it encourages them to continue playing baseball and work hard in school.

The Rolando Paulino Little League Organization Teams has been an organization in the Bronx for years with the mission to produce exemplary citizens.
