Drivers say the recent change to a Soundview intersection has green lights in two different directions at the same time.
They are asking the Department of Transportation to correct the issue at the corner of Randall and Taylor avenues.
There was once a stop sign approaching Taylor Avenue, but now drivers say it was changed to a traffic light.
They say the lights are green at the same time for drivers turning left on Randall Avenue from northbound Soundview Avenue as well as for those driving southbound on Taylor Avenue.
"Something has to be done quickly, or it will just keep happening," says Oswald Millan, an MTA bus driver who says he was already involved in an accident at the intersection.
The DOT says it is aware of the situation and is reviewing possible enhancements.
