It's safe to officially say 'tis the season as the New York Botanical Garden gears up for its 32nd annual Holiday Train Show.
Organizers say this year is bigger than ever.
The outdoor and indoor experience takes New Yorkers on an enchanted journey that brings New York's landmarks like the Bronx's Yankee Stadium and the Brooklyn Bridge to life.
Some of the replicas are crafted using preserved plant specimens from the garden. "Twigs, leaves, seedpods, gourds - they all come together to make this sort of architectural masterpiece, and you wander around this miniature city. It's twinkly, it's enchanted, it's going to be really magical," said NYBG interpretive manager Michaela Wright.
The show is open to the public from Nov. 17 to Jan. 15 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
