A few eating establishments in Brooklyn are still requiring customers wear masks and have proof of vaccination despite Mayor Eric Adams ending the vaccine requirement for indoor businesses and venues earlier this week.

Leland Restaurant in Prospect Heights is still requiring proof of vaccination. Owner Ryan Lee tells News 12 if customers are not vaccinated, they’ll need to opt for takeout.

“I think it’s still early,” Lee said. “We're still going to be requiring it until COVID is the last thing we hear about.”

Back in December Leland closed for 12 days to allow employees to get tested and vaccinated without the pressure of returning to work.
