Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez have officially called off their two-year engagement.

The two said in a joint statement to NBC's "Today" show that they are “better as friends,” and will continue to support each other in their shared ventures.

The couple has been together since 2017.

In March, reports started circulating that they had called off the engagement, they said reports were inaccurate, and they were "working through some things."
