Judge rejects firearm manufacture's motion to have Sandy Hook parents' lawsuit dismissed

Some Sandy Hook parents trying to sue the maker of the rifle used in the 2012 tragedy accomplished a legal victory Monday.
A federal judge in Bridgeport rejected a motion by Remington to have the suit tossed.
The families claim the company irresponsibly marketed the bushmaster XM15 rifle, which was later used by Adam Lanza.
The company unsuccessfully argued the families can't prove and haven't even alleged that it was the marketing that led Lanza to carry out the attack.
The ruling now clears the way for the suit to go to trial.
