Juneteenth Unityfest is coming to Brooklyn for the first time this weekend.
It will be the event’s inaugural in-person celebration after it was held virtually last year.
The festivities kick off Sunday with a block party under the K Bridge in the afternoon – and then a concert will be held at Prospect Park in the evening.
“We get to tell and celebrate our culture and our history in this country, talk about what we're all doing, where we're all going and unify, and anybody who wants to come and take this ride with us, come on and do it,” added Robert Randolph, Juneteenth Unity Fest organizer.
