Jury remains undecided on verdict in Brandon Hendricks murder case

After nearly three years in court, a verdict has still not been reached in the 2020 murder of Brandon Hendricks.  
Friday was an emotional day for the Hendricks family, who will have to wait another day after the jury was unable to reach a verdict after hours of deliberation.  
Najhim Luke is facing second-degree murder, first-degree manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon charges for Hendricks’ death.  
Brandon Hendricks was shot and killed by a stray bullet in June 2020. His mother, Eve, says her son had big basketball dreams, but that his greatest wish was to be a father.  
Eve Hendricks is also urging lawmakers to take further action towards ending gun violence.
