Jury selection began Tuesday in the corruption retrial of former state Senate leader Dean Skelos.
The Rockville Centre Republican and his son are being tried on corruption charges for a second time.
They were each convicted of extortion, conspiracy and bribery in 2015.
Those convictions were overturned following a Supreme Court ruling that changed the legal definition of corruption.
