Kickboxing brings unique way to get in shape for summer
For those looking to different forms of cardio to shred pounds ahead of summer, trainers say kickboxing is an exciting way to work out your entire body.
The owner of I Love Kickboxing in the Bronx is urging New Yorkers to join the growing sport to get in shape, adding that it functions as a good stress reliever as well.
"You're engaging your core almost constantly, almost every time with real quick roundhouse kicks," said Louis Viejo, owner of I Love Kickboxing. "Your core is moving... throwing your hands, shoulders, arms, of course lactic acid is gonna start burning."
