The owner of a Kingsbridge pizza shop says police have been unfairly ticketing his delivery cars.
Pizza Supreme on the corner of Broadway and West 242 Street parks its delivery cars in front of their property since it does not have a loading dock. However, the owner of the shop says police have been ticketing them for doing so.
The restaurant does not have a loading dock because of where it's located, meaning the only place where they can unload products is in front of the store.
The owner says he is a good community member working with a lot of organizations in the neighborhood and just wants to be able to operate his business without being ticketed.
Even though Pizza Supreme opened up in the neighborhood a few months ago, the owner says he only started getting these tickets over the past few weeks.
News 12 reached out to the NYPD about the tickets and is waiting to hear back.
