As with most snowstorms shoppers flocked to a hardware store in Morris Park to stock up on all the last-minute necessities.
Shovels, rock salt and other safety supplies were in high demand at True Value. Owner William Pedone says he’s been busy answering the phones and helping customers since up to 12 inches of snow may fall across the city.
Pedone says shoppers should stock up on batteries and make sure there are no pipes exposed. He says people should also shut their outside water and put hoses away.
