Valentine's Day is hours away, and many are still at a loss for what to get their special someone.
For many, Valentine's Day is about roses, chocolate and scrambling for last-minute gift ideas.
Nicole Perrino runs the blog
BronxMama.com and has a couple of suggestions for her neighborhood this Valentine's Day.
Whether you're looking to get dolled up before a date or pamper you wife or girlfriend, Perrino suggests Hair House on Middletown Road in Pelham Bay.
"Well, what woman wouldn't love to be pampered, get their hair done. Hair House is owned by a local celebrity hairstylist," says Perrino.
Fabulous Blooms opened up shop on East Tremont Avenue a couple months ago, and they're fully stocked with candy bouquets and, of course, floral arrangements for even the most last-minute lovebird.
Perrino tells News 12 you can even stop in the day of to pick up flowers.
Also, since Valentines' Day falls on a workday, Perrino suggest grabbing coffee with your significant other before the work day begins. The Coffee Break Company on Philip Avenue in Throgs Neck opens at 7 a.m. and is baking something extra special for the holiday.
"We've been taking custom orders from the community for cake pops, cakes, cupcakes, little sweet tarts and stuff," says Dennis Cohen, manager of the Coffee Break Company.
Perrino says no matter what your Valentine's Day style is, the Bronx has you covered.
