People from across the region got to listen to music and taste a variety of cuisines at Lehman College Sunday night.

The Bronx Opera Chorus performed at the college, and those who attended the performance were invited to ?A Taste of the Bronx? afterwards. The event provided an opportunity for dozens of restaurants to showcase their food.

Locals said the event was a good opportunity for restaurants to get publicity because the Bronx Opera Chorus?s performance drew a lot of guests. Those who provided the food say they hope people will like what they tasted and come back for more.

The event was produced by the Bronx Tourism Council in conjunction with the borough president?s office.
