Life-saving devices are reportedly headed to most Transit Authority job sites.

The transit union has complained that only Transit Authority executives have access to defibrillators. The union says only a few are available at other worksites and seven of the 468 subway stations in the city. According to the Daily News, defibrillators will now be installed at bus depots and train yards. However, there is no word on whether more devices will be installed at subway stations.

Transit union leaders have been asking for the heart-starting devices for several years. They have also been requesting training for workers to learn how to use the defibrillators.
