Limited flight service resumed to John F. Kennedy International Airport’s Terminal 1 on Saturday as it dealt with the aftermath of a massive power outage.
The airport said on Saturday that electrical repairs were completed overnight, and power had been fully restored to the terminal.
Some flights scheduled for Terminal 1 were still being redirected to Newark Liberty International Airport and New York Stewart International Airport in Orange County.
The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey has additional customer service on staff on help passengers impacted by the outage.
