New York City will see a sunny but cold weekend ahead of rain expected on Sunday.
News 12 meteorologist Darryl Green says Saturday will be mostly cloudy but a bit milder, with highs near 50 and lows near 44.
SUNDAY: Mostly cloudy. A few light rain showers possible in the morning and early afternoon. Then some peeks of sunshine. Highs continue to climb, up to 66. Lows remain mild, near 55.
MONDAY: Mostly cloudy with a few showers possible in the afternoon and evening. As of right now, highs near 63. Lows near 50.
TUESDAY: A few showers likely (maybe a rumble of thunder too) with a cold front. Highs near 55 early, falling to near 35.
WEDNESDAY - THURSDAY: Mostly sunny and chilly, but not too bad! Highs around 50. Lows in the upper-30s.
