A local gun violence prevention group, the Meezy Foundation, donated equipment to the senior water aerobics class at the Brooklyn Sports Club in East New York.

Donated items included water weights, towels, goggles and swim caps.

"Everything that I gave them was things that they need to help with their aqua therapy, and that to me helps the community more than anything else," said Tara Lewis, founder of the Meezy Foundation.
