Voters reported long lines and voting issues at the polls in the Bronx Tuesday, prompting delays and frustration at two Parkchester sites.
Voters lined up outside of 1563 Metropolitan Ave., some early as 5 a.m., only to be told by volunteers that there was no key to open the door inside.
After a key was found and the doors were open, voters were once again told they had to wait for the machines to warm up, prompting further frustration.
Overall, voters say it was about an hour delay at the site before they were able to vote.
Another voting site at 18 Metropolitan Ave. also experienced issues, according to voters.
They say they could not vote for about 45 minutes because the polling sites machines were not scanning ballots properly. Witnesses say some voters who were waiting in line shouted "It's rigged!" before walking away without voting.
