Griffin began her career at McDonald's over 40 years ago, and on Monday,
the Kings Plaza McDonald's honored her.
She
received a leadership service
award, tickets to "The Lion King" on Broadway, and a gift
card.
The
celebration was part of McDonald’s national ‘Thank You Crew’ initiative that
acknowledges standout employees that go the extra mile for the customers and
their team.
The owner
of the Kings Plaza McDonald's says while Griffin may be the first
recipient of the award in this region, she won’t be the last, as he now plans
to honor his employees monthly.
