An early-morning shooting in Longwood left a teen hospitalized on Sunday, police said.

The shooting happened just before 7 a.m. on Intervale Avenue.

Police said the victim was shot in the leg. Police say the victim is 17 years old.

Officers were seen entering a three-story home at 1071 Intervale Ave. where police told News 12 the shooting happened. Detectives headed to the upper floors of the building.

There was no large police presence outside — only a few patrol cars and no crime-scene tape.

Detectives were also canvassing along East 167th Street and reviewing surveillance footage as they search for a suspect.

No arrests have been made as of Sunday afternoon.
