A Schuylerville pizzeria ranked as one of the best in the borough just celebrated a major milestone.

Brothers John and Cosmo Tiso have worked as co-owners of Louie and Ernie's Pizza for the last 30 years when they took over the shop in 1987. The pizzeria has officially been open for 60 years.

They were 16 and 18 years old when they acquired the shop. The brothers had been working for the original owner Ernie, with no intentions of taking over the business.

When Ernie was ready to retire, the boys borrowed money from their mother to buy the shop.

John and Cosmo say their secret ingredient isn't sauce or cheese -- it's their hospitality.
