Mamajuana Cafe is handing out bagged lunches for kids during school closures due to the increase in coronavirus cases throughout New York City.

The restaurant is preparing lunch bags with an apple, water, a sandwich, and a bag of chips. They say they don’t want kids to go hungry because they count on school lunches to eat. 
Volunteers are taking precautions by wearing gloves and using hand sanitizer. 
They will be handing out the meals from Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.  and their second shift will be dinner from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
